This 18th-century hotel is set in the centre of South Molton. It mixes original character with modern comforts and has log fires, free Wi-Fi, free parking and en suite rooms with flat-screen TVs. The room was clean and warm on a chilly night, bed was comfy, breakfast was very nicely cooked and presented and staff were friendly. Tea making facilities with a biscuit was appreciated and the rom decor was admired.

Featuring a restaurant and a bar, The Bull Inn is located in Totnes, 300 metres from Totnes Castle. Guests at the hotel can enjoy a cooked breakfast. I stayed in the single room, which could have been an afterthought, but I felt it was really well laid out and appointed. I appreciate the ethics of the business. All the staff I met were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Great location also. Thought it might be noisy, from the pub, but it was just fine.

We loved the fact that the whole village seemed to use the Red Lion as the meeting place. We met so many amazing people (and their gorgeous dogs) in the pub. All the staff were friendly and so helpful. Our room and en suite bathroom was spacious and lovely, exceeding our expectations.
